Blend 53: ethically and environmentally better coffee

All the coffee served at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre is now Blend 53. This coffee blend is unique to Restaurant Associates and aims, not only to taste good, but also make a difference.
Better for the environment
Blend 53 is 100% Arabica coffee, a blend of beans from Sumatra, Colombia and Brazil, and is Certified Rainforest Alliance. This means the coffee was grown on farms certified to the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard, which supports climate-smart agriculture and helps reduce the impact of such crops on the climate.
The beans are sourced directly from farmers or through established trading companies, roasted in the UK, and distributed in 100% recyclable packaging.

Foodinate is a multi-award winning social enterprise, tackling food poverty and homelessness in the UK. Restaurant Associates has teamed up Foodinate, meaning that every coffee sold gives a little something back to the community, on a national scale. By forming partnerships with restaurants, venues and grassroots charities, Foodinate ensures that every Foodinate-selected drink or meal enjoyed with one of their partners (of which Hinxton Hall is one) results in a meal for a local person in need.
So far, £99 have been given to charity via Foodinate for the coffees sold at Hinxton Hall.
