Event and meeting attendees
All event attendees, whether participating online, or in person at the Wellcome Genome Campus, are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct as part of an event booking.
Please read our Code of conduct for bed and breakfast guests and attendees of all events held at the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre
Arriving on Campus
The Campus operates a range of security measures including traffic control barriers at the entrance to the site. To gain access to the event, the event organiser will need to have shared your name with out security team, or issued you with an access pass, if applicable.
By coach
If the event organiser organises coach travel for you, your name will be on the event list given to security and the bus will go straight through to the Conference Centre.
By car
Bring the access pass you received from the organiser of the event you are attending, and show it at the traffic control barrier. This permit also permits you to park in the Conference Centre car park for the duration of the event.
By foot or cycle
Your name will be on the event list at security. You can either enter via the main Campus entrance and then follow the signs to Conference Centre once through the barriers, or come to the Hinxton gate on Ickleton Road and ring the buzzer for security to let you in. Bicycle parking is located on the Campus side of the Conference Centre.
Taxi
Your name will be on the event list at security. The taxi drop-off and collection point is outside the Conference Centre Reception.
