  • Guests have access to electric vehicle charging points between 7pm and 7am. These are not in the Conference Centre car park, but in a separate car park, a five minute walk away.

Hotel and Conference Centre sits alongside the river Cam and is set within 125 acres of parkland, wetland and formal gardens by the village of Hinxton, just outside the market town of Saffron Walden.  Our accommodation facilities comprise modern and comfortable single, double, twin (two single beds), triple (one double bed, and one single bed) and accessible rooms, all set within a quiet and tranquil environment. These are open to everyone and available all year round, apart from the Christmas period, when we are closed.

Every room has free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and TV. Water coolers are located in the corridors; please bring your own bottle to refill.

Mulberry Court bedrooms have air conditioning. Willow Court does not.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included with all room bookings, and is served in the Dining Room:

Evening meals

Overnight guests can enjoy the residents’ bar in Hinxton Hall, which offers a selection of drinks and bar food, such as pizzas.
When the bar is closed, guests can order food to take to their rooms via an app (within mealtime hours).

Activities to enjoy on site

  • Guests are welcome to walk around the grounds. Hinxton Hall is on the beautiful 125 acres Wellcome Genome Campus estate, with vast amounts of carefully managed natural spaces. Next to the Hall is a peaceful orchard and two lakes, and the infant river Cam runs across the back of Campus.
  • We have an outdoor trim track which wraps round the lawns at the back of Hinxton Hall, comprising 12 exercise stations, as well as an outdoor gym, which can be used in daylight and fair weather.
  • Two tennis courts are available in the evenings and at weekends. Rackets and balls can be borrowed from Reception.
