Welcome to our marvellous team

The day-to-day conferencing team work with both internal and external clients from the initial enquiry stages right though to event delivery and collating post event feedback, working on over 400 events a year between them. On a daily basis the team interact with everyone from event bookers, the catering team and external suppliers to deliver events which run smoothly and efficiently.

Kelly Butler – Business and Events Senior Manager

Kelly leads the Conference Centre team, and is responsible for financial management and business development.

 

Rebecca Loffman – Conference and Events Manager

Becky leads the Conference and Events Organiser team. She began her event industry career in 2007, gaining valuable experience at each level within an successful events team at a Cambridge University before joining Connecting Science in 2016.

 

Hannah Anderson – Conference and Events Organiser

Hannah is an experienced Conference and Event Organiser with over 15 years’ experience. In her role now, she works as part of a team to organise all of the conferences at the Conference Centre, supporting meetings of up to 1000 people.

 

Lauren Baird – Conference and Events Organiser

Lauren is an experienced Conference and Event Organiser with over 10 years’ experience in administrative and event management roles. In her current role she supports existing clients and secures new business.

 

Fran Goddard – Conference and Events Organiser

Fran is an experienced Conference and Event Organiser with over 10 years’ experience. She started her career in catering operations and expanded into conferences and events. In her role now, she works as part of a team to organise all of the conferences at the Conference Centre, supporting a mix of internal and external clients.

Amy Sullivan – Conference and Events Organiser

Amy is a highly-motivated and personable member of the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre team. She has a strong background in business development and igniting and sustaining great client relationships. In her current role, she supports clients looking to host a variety of meetings and events at the Conference Centre.

 

Tanya Hudgell – Conference and Events Administrator

Tanya is an experienced administrator with over 30 years’ experience. In her current role, she helps with the organisation of conferences on site, and supports the sales team with their administration.

 

Kat Mace – Systems and Process Manager

Kat is a long-standing member of the Conference Centre team, with 20 years’ experience in the industry. Her management responsibilities include implementing and maintaining a range of core operational systems, process and policy writing and revision, bespoke project work, GDPR compliance, and financial responsibilities.

 

Katrina Robinson – Head of Programme Operations

Katrina Robinson is responsible for the management of Hinxton Hall Conference Centre. She is leads on all of Wellcome Connecting Science operations, which include the Conference Centre as well as programme-wide administration, financial management, and governance.
